Service description

Ringminder connects your calendar (Google Calendar, Microsoft, or Apple iCloud) and calls you by phone before each appointment, at the lead time and with the voice you choose. The service relies on third-party providers (Twilio for calls and SMS, Stripe for billing) whose availability affects that of Ringminder.

Account and access

• Access to Ringminder does not require a dedicated password; you sign in through your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account. You are responsible for the security of that third-party account.
• You must verify a phone number that belongs to you by SMS before you can receive calls.
• You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate anyone else.

Subscriptions and pricing

• Free plan: 10 calls per month, no commitment and no card required.
• Pro plan: 100 calls per month, billed at €8.99 per month or €86.30 per year (a 20% discount on the annual subscription).
• The first test call is free and does not count against your quota.
• Your call quota follows the calendar month in your timezone and is tied to your verified phone number. Past the Free quota, the tenth call informs you by voice that the quota has been reached; further reminders are kept in your history without triggering a call.

Pro subscription payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each period unless you cancel, which you can do at any time from your Ringminder account or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you subscribe to the Pro plan. By subscribing, you expressly request immediate performance of the service; if performance is fully completed before that period ends, you lose your right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ringminder for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to circumvent call quotas, and to provide only a phone number you are authorized to use. Ringminder may suspend an account in case of abusive use.

Service availability

Ringminder uses reasonable efforts to keep the service available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Whether a call actually goes through depends on factors outside our control: the phone network, your carrier, and the state of your phone. Ringminder is not a substitute for your own attention to important appointments.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ringminder’s liability is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the amounts you paid over the previous twelve months. Ringminder cannot be held liable for a missed appointment resulting from a call that did not go through.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your settings. Ringminder may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of these terms or non-payment of a Pro subscription.

Intellectual property

The Ringminder name, logo, and website content belong to the publisher and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg, subject to any mandatory protective provisions that may apply to a consumer residing in another European Union member state.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, in particular to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The last update date appears at the top of this page.
