Start with a shared calendar
A daughter, son or trusted caregiver can create events in the calendar linked to Ringminder—for example a consultation, transport departure or planned visit.
Keep titles short and concrete because the call reads them aloud. Consider privacy and avoid unnecessary health details in a shared calendar.
A consent-based setup
Explain who manages events, which number will be called and how many calls to expect. The older person receives the verification SMS and should ideally take part in the test call.
Review reminders regularly. A treatment, timing or situation change must be updated by a responsible person; Ringminder cannot infer it.
What caregivers can see today
The account shows synchronized events and technical call status. It lets the account holder change timing and pause reminders.
There is not yet a separate caregiver role, multi-relative management, recorded family voice or automatic alert after a missed call. Care arrangements should not assume those features exist.

Can I set up Ringminder for my mother or father?
You can help set up the calendar and account with their consent. The recipient's mobile must be confirmed using the SMS code they receive.
Will I be alerted if my relative does not answer?
No. Technical status appears in account history, but Ringminder does not currently send a separate caregiver alert.
Is Ringminder suitable for someone with dementia?
Ringminder has not been evaluated as a medical device or dementia safety solution. Ask the care team and never use it as the only safeguard.
